Koethe
Kevin Koethe (b.1988) creates abstract paintings that examine ordinary forms that reside in the background of our busy lives. He highlights the beauty of the underside of a flower or the light of a railway signal on the side of the tracks. Through perfectly balanced color and shape, his paintings zoom in and make us appreciate the beauty in small things. Kevin's exploration of color and shapes transform into kaleidoscope landscapes that are inspired from his dreams and imagination. Kevin Koethe lives and works in the southern suburbs of Philadelphia.
